Enjoyed my stay at Poplars Farm Bed & Breakfast. The location was perfect for visiting Shuttleworth, just a short drive away. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, made to order, and delicious. I appreciated the flexibility in breakfast timing, especially since I wanted to run nearby first. The cozy room was comfortable, and having a nice ensuite shower was a bonus. I loved the charming garden area for dining. it added a lovely touch to meals. A couple of issues did arise. The room's temperature control was inconsistent. I arrived to a bit of chill, which took a while to warm up. I noticed some minor maintenance repairs needed, like tightening the handle on the bathroom door. The bathroom itself felt small and had limited space to manage luggage comfortably. A few more toiletries would have enhanced the experience, too. it was a delightful stay, but addressing those small details would truly elevate it.

Variety of room choices, pleasant communal areas, outdoor spaces for relaxation
Rooms could use larger space allocation for luggage management!!! Repair minor maintenance issues like shaky bathroom shelves!!! Position of bathroom doors limits accessibility!!! Communication about amenities could be clearer!!!

The breakfast was freshly cooked and flavorful, with a lovely option to enjoy it in the charming garden dining area.
The towels provided in the room were quite small and a bit rough, which could be improved for a more comfortable experience.

Had a lovely time at Poplars Farm! The homemade yogurt was a standout, and the breakfast spread really set the day off right. I enjoyed the cozy King Room with a warm ambiance. Plus, the owners were super helpful with local dining tips, and there's a fab pub nearby serving top-notch dishes!
Had a few quirks that were slightly bothersome. The dressing table was nice, but I ended up using it as a desk, which was a bit tight. Some comfy outdoor furniture would have made the most of the gorgeous garden area during my stay too!

The room was cozy, but the bathroom was cramped for my luggage.

the room was chilly upon arrival, hardly a warm welcome. plus, the flimsy net curtains did nothing to block the light. i’d expected a complimentary room upgrade or at least fresh milk instead of having to scrounge some from the breakfast area. almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn’t, unfortunately.

Enjoyed my time here with a lovely clean room and a comfy bed that made it hard to get up. There’s a sweet garden area perfect for lounging and a cozy sunroom to sip coffee while reading. Just a tiny thing—breakfast portions felt a bit small for the price, but the taste was great! ☕

Comfortable Stay with a Beautiful Room
We loved our room – it was clean and had a stylish large bathroom. The bed was super comfy, and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with lovely toast, all while sitting in the pretty garden room. the vehicle noise from the front of the house was a bit distracting sometimes.
